Conventional "wisdom" and vets recommend waiting
6 months to spay/neuter. Because cats can get pregnant as early as 4
months old, this does little to slow the reproductive rate. Progressive
vets now know that cats can be safely "fixed" at 8 weeks old so long as
the kitty weights at least 2lbs and is in good general health. In fact,
kitties of this age rebound faster and more easily from the spay/neuter
procedure than do their older counterparts.
So don't delay...spay/neuter TODAY!
